Danieru Tours The YouKay
I’m carrying the company X41 around these days, and it’s lovely. I want one, even though I already have it. Parents are arriving in a couple of days, and I’ve just managed to sort out a ryokan for them. It’s at the other end of town, and I’m taking the train back now, feeling marginally less cheated by travel time by the fact that I can update the blessed blog, or burogu. And rightly enough, the journey is flying by. Spoke to Dipesh for ages today, and impressed to learn that he is into whisky. I feel as if I’m missing out on something by not living in the UK now. Which is coincidental, because I’ve just booked the flights to go back.

Please leave comments on the post encourage me to come and visit you, but the plan is so far to do:
Thu 26th Oct: BirminghamFri: Rajani wedding
Sat: Bristol
Sun: Bristol
Mon: London
Tue: London (Zajac + Irish kid whose name escapes me at the moment)
Wed: London
Thu: Fly to Edinburgh
Fri: Pearson wedding
Sat: Fly back home via London then Seoul.

Onion, I plead you to consider allocating a day in October for debauchery in Bristol.

I’d have liked to fly up to Edinburgh a little earlier, but I cant, as it is my mother’s birthday on the Thursday, and I’m only spending 3 nights or 2 dinners in London anyway, so I guess it makes sense.

Quick Summary on me:

Spent enormous amounts of time recently on: working.
Spent enormous amounts of curse words directed towards: IBM’s wonderful AIX.
Spent enormous amounts of money recently on: a taxi – 19500 yen for a single journey
Reading: Henry Kissinger
Listening to: the crystal method

Watching: The boondock saints
In love with: nihilism. I have been feeling nothing of late. That said, I worked 80+ hours last week, 50 of which made me wish I was paid by the hour. However, I still managed to find the time (mostly by skipping dinner) to hit The Pong a couple of times.
Fascinated with: the notion of retiring at 40. I need $30k unearned notes, and the house paid for. Muzakashi des-ka? Iie. Daijobu des.
Next holiday: London calling
Dreaming of: less. I feel older and less progressive
Considering: that maybe buying a flat is a waste of cash
Missing: nothing. I have the world spinning on the end of index finger. But like Atlas, tired.

Comments:
It gets worse. I live 2 minutes away and have only seen him once in the last 3 months!
-Stuart.
