Summer is here

and it feels good to be sitting in a balcony in shibuya, sipping beer and watching the girls go by.

and later that week, split work on saturday at about 20:00, following an absolutely disastrous disaster recovery test, and headed down to PK's for a rooftop party. I wish i had my camera. woke up at 9am, still on the roof, sweating in the blazing heat, sharing a futon with 3 other people, one of which had a split (lizard man style) tongue. I seem to recall him hurling over the side of the roof earlier in the evening. Pigeons aren't the only danger the sky has to offer.

Finished with Citi on Monday, no emotional goodbyes....and now today is free. Or sorta. Managed to book another flight, another hotel, some travel insurance, and wash some clothes. Tomorrow I embark on journey which is highly likely to see me get eaten by an Anaconda or chased off a cliff by Llama. This is fine, because I owe the Japanese taxman money.

so now it's 19:00 and the only thing left to do is fill in a job application, so that i have some way of earning a living upon return, and, i guess, pack.
