Barry White
There was something rather surreal about zipping through Lima at midnight, with the cab driver playing Barry White at full volume. But I'm almost in the jungle... Just one more flight tomorrow.

San Francisco is a fine city. Better than most American cities, as it has old buildings, hills, and a relaxed feeling. I fell victim to trends, and bought a Timbuk2 and a Moleskin. Then went to H&M and bought some clothes, just to taper that God What a Ripoff feeling. But they look pretty....

No real stories to tell about America, other than eating a fantastic burrito, watching Fat People, starting and almost finishing a book entitled Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, watching some kids break into dance when a car with a loud stereo pulled up at the lights next to them, some cool stencilling (flickr shortly) and witnessing the extreme poverty that I have come to expect from the US: accidentally stumbling through an area that looked to be filled with crackheads.
