Fuji-san

....Lake Kawaguchi with Mount Fuji in the background. next year, i will be fit enough to climb it.

Twice so far this week, I have gone running just after midnight. It's about 10 degrees out there. There is something eerily perfect in the tranquility of listening to Sigur Ros at 1am whilst jogging through the dark, silent narrow streets, gazing at the mock-30's gas lamps.
Today, after running, I sat down on the kerb, and watched the traffic for 15 minutes whilst picturing a candle flame. Come on Romina, do I have to sort out my life on my own now? Actually, I dont think I am having a moment. Rather, just a culmination of {the usual family arguments} + {uncertainty as to how to Destroy My Agent} led to too much thinking in the past few days. And quote Al: 'thinking is bad for you'.

Comments:
A very "arty photo". nice

The supposed genius result was that of many, many iterations; I assure you. Uncropped, unadjusted and fully manual though :)

Shobie and I think you look totally TP. You've gone back to not shaving I take it.

I did shave in the morning. EXIF shows that it was taken at 1700hrs. So, I guess I prove the 5 o'clock shadow.

As for TP, well, not much I can do about that.

We all went to see Sigur Rós last week and had a top of the range night - you could have come too had you still been around.

Next Feb we are off to see Goldfrapp, but minus Al. If you are reading this Al there may still be time to get you a ticket if you change your mind.

brilliant photo - my friends (female) have been admiring too!

Dom: I am indebted to you for introducing me to Sigur Rós.

K: Admiration for mountain scenery appears to cross the gender barrier.

I am ほんと {surprised} at the level of attention that a picture of me has generated. Have you all forgotten what I look like?

Nice use of ほんと Mr D. Perhaps you will be able to make use of the phrase コメント in a future blog entry.

And to repeat what I said in my last email (and fit in with everyone else): Nice lake and mountain.

great photo dude
