Yoyogi Park
I wanted to go running after work today, and Ikebukuro is not the most inspiring place in the world to excercise outdoors. So I headed down to Yoyogi park, and scared the living daylights out of myself by running with headphones on in deserted darkness in central tokyo.

Current Nearest Observations:
heavy rain 17°C
NW (3 mph)
Relative Humidity (%): 88,
Pressure (mB): 1018, Rising,
Visibility: Poor

I like running in the rain, so this was good.

Today I am angry, for, despite knowing that Japanese Equities are undervalued, and trade is increasing rapidly, my lack of Japanese means that I cannot invest. Dozens upon dozens of wholesale brokerages, but no retail. Nobody wants the poor mans money. Unless he is literate. I found it hard to find a list of Japanese brokerages online, so, if I ever learn Japanese in time to start trading shares, here are a few of the bookmarks:

I dont believe in pensions. Not even remotely. To me, it represents the statement: "I'm so rubbish with money that I am going to hire a drunken expense account frauding loudmouth red-braces wearing wideboy to blow my cash on Porsche's, Charlie, and maybe some HSBC stock."
Ok, so i'm envious of anyone that made it in The Square Mile, but that doesn't mean I am wrong....

Comments:
What were you listening to on your headphones while you were running scared?

Also, what sort of music player were you using?

Can't remember, but it would have been something frigheningly dramatic and moody, with a strong mind numbingly indifferent beat to keep the pace. Not a Tom Petty moment. Perhaps DnB will be appropriate next time - perhaps the Return to V album i am downloading?

Obviously, I was using an iPod, like 8/10 of the rest of the world. Really though, it's sooo yesterday. I want a W900i, but i'd settle for a V3x. Damn me for being addicted to technology, materialism and all things standing between me and a simple life in the hills of Tuscany.

I thought you neede to be driving a corsa with a sub woofer to listen to DnB.

I think the W900i looks a bit too much like a mockup for my liking.

What is the bird flu situation like in Japan? Is it the top news story over there too?

>I think the W900i looks a bit too much like a mockup for my liking.

re-articulate please. you use a P800 at the moment, right?

bird flu is not a concern. this place is so hygienic, i would eat my dinner on the tarmac. what normally happens is that they just ban imports from the country (eg American beef).

ordinarily, you need a subwoofer for DnB, yes, but sometimes losing inhibitions and ignoring stereotypes can be worthwhile. :) try something new, you never know, you may like it. Give "Planet V" a try - it's oh-so old skool, but it's what got me thinking that DnB wasn't so pointless afterall.

To me, old skool would be new skool.

As far as I know the picture of the w900i is made up usding photoshop. It is possible the phone will be produced, but apparently there is no actual made up version yet.

ok - forget what I just said, I have just seen a proper w900i. It looks pretty good, but it seems to be 3G, but then I suppose that is a good thing.
