God Damn, I hate google
not only did they still my email address, causing me to avoid blogging for quite some time, but now i find that they have switched everything over to japanese. Quelle Horreur! And i dont know how to switch it back. But i do know that i hate them.

Took a comp day today, and was intending to train it down to the beach, and cycle back. But sorting out bureaucratic nonsense left me staying in tokyo and inhaling truck fumes whilst trying to not get killed. Must buy helmet. I've never felt scared on a bike before, and I can say for sure, it aint nice. I now understand why people cycle on the pavement here. If someone's gotta get pranged, I want to come out better. Anyway, met up with Ricky, who managed to convince me to go snowboarding tomorrow, so i am. But before that, met with Derek, in the hospital. He's in for an operation on his back,which has been troubling him for 2 years. I dont really like hospitals. And despite this being a really plush one, I like them even less now. It made me realise that the world is a pretty miserable and lonely place.

Right, it's friday night, so i'm off to some cheap and nasty izakaya...calling Shibuya...
